We Are One Empowering Through Kindness, United by Love. The We Are One Movement is an initiative of inspiring kindness and unity created by our group members Sophie Baird and Ethan Wasiejko.
Our Mission: To promote a world of kindness, love, and unity by reaching out and encouraging others to be kind to one another, helping people regain their power, and making a safe place for all to be heard.
Background: We Are One is a term that is very appropriate for this initiative. Together, we share this Earth. We all live here together, in this moment. By choosing to be negative towards a fellow human being, we do nothing more than negatively affect ourselves, as now that negative energy is circulating. By bringing this to everyone’s attention, we hope to open your mind to kindness and empowerment. By being positive, kind, and loving, we instantly begin healing the entire world as it is a beneficial and uplifting form of energy, and that is what we want/need to have in this world, now more than ever.
Why? Bullying is a relevant issue in our world, especially in schools and among children. Too many students go unheard, and they move through life in silence because someone took their power away. Sophie and Ethan have decided to approach this problem in a very unique way-through kindness. It is our jobs as humans to be there for others. During the course of our lives, we must realize that being kind to each other is essential to the overall well-being of everyone. If everyone begins showing kindness in one way or another, the whole world will instantly begin healing.
How? In order to spread this message, we want to start encouraging people around not only our community, but the entire world. Thanks to social media, this has never been easier. Our intention is to start hosting online challenges, sell kindness-themed products to support our causes, and host events surrounding kindness/empowerment.
Take our pledge: I, (state your name), agree to spread peace, kindness, love and unity amongst the world around me. I will do this by…
